Use the machine gun while you can, then enter a large hole in the building next to it, go up the stairs, jump through the hole in the floor and go out the next large hole in the building.
Follow the alley around until you get to the machine gun on your left. Just before the barbed wire barrier, make a right through a metalwork gate. Wait until the tank blows up the bell tower. Go down the stairs, and make two lefts back onto the street. Go up the stairs, eliminate all the soldiers, and get the panzerfaust. You will see stairs going up the outside of a building. Make the next right, then another quick right.
Go down an alley on the right, by where the street curves. Don't make the next left in the street, though. Follow the tank around the street to the left. There will be a soldier or two shooting at you at almost every point. This area is difficult because you have to move fast and the tank guy keeps yelling at you.
